June 2025: Data Sections moved to dFac

We have moved two data sections from Scholars Profile Manager to dFac: Professional Training and Employment section (previously Academic Positions Outside Duke) and Licensure section. This means that data for these sections will no longer be entered in Scholars Profile Manager; instead, they will be managed by dFac administrators on a departmental level. All existing data has automatically been migrated.

Improvements:

• Professional Training and Employment section (previously Academic Positions Outside Duke) label updated to be more consistent with information stored in dFac
• Provides departmental oversight over verifiable data
• Medical Licensure expanded to include all professional licensure
• New form, found in Scholars Profile Manager, created to request dFac entry for these fields
• dFac administrators have been informed and provided with instruction for entry
