The Education & Credentials section includes: Education, Training & Certifications, and Medical Licensure.

Education

Navigate to the Education section using the links on the left in Profile Manager.

Faculty degree information is pulled from dFac (Duke’s faculty appointments system). Degree information is entered and maintained by the department's dFac user. The highest degree requires appropriate documentation such as a transcript or diploma. For help maintaining your degree information, contact the Scholars Power User in your area.

Training & Certifications

The Training & Certifications section shows residencies, fellowships, and other faculty training information pulled from dFac. Training and certifications data is entered by the departmental dFac user. For more help, contact the Power User in your area.

Medical Licensure

Faculty with a current medical license can add their license information to this section.

Medical Licensure is entered in the Education section of Duke’s faculty database (dFac) along with other professional licensures. If you wish to list your current medical or other professional licenses and credentials, please provide the following information to your dFac representative or supply it to the Office of Faculty Affairs via this form:
  • Licensure Start Year (e.g. 2020)
  • License Organization (e.g. Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure, American Nurses Credentialing Center)
  • License Number (e.g. #19041)
If you have trouble identifying your dFac representative, reach out to the dFac Administrator for your school to request contact information for the appropriate dFac representative.
